Focal point does not catch the eye.	Practitioner Proficient ~ somewhat easy to read and looks good. Focal point catches the eye & is memorable.	Expert Advanced ~ Look is Easy to read & well done. Focal point catches the eye & is memorable. Also makes the brochure immediately understandable.
Required Information	Novice Did not complete all required information	Apprentice completed most of the required information at a limited level	Practitioner Completed all of the required information at a basic level	Expert Completed all of the required information at an advanced level. Look is professional, creative and makes an impact.
Use of Font, layout & Color	Novice Did not complete the "look" of the brochure. Non original content, passages were copied.	Apprentice Brochure was put together but did not seem organized. Two or more spelling, puncuation, or grammer mistakes. Content was cut & paste	Practitioner Student effectively uses color, font, & layout in a pleasing manner. No more than one spelling, puncuation or grammer error.	Expert Student effectively uses color, font, & layout in a pleasing manner. Student writes all sentences in his/her own words with no errors.

Expert Graphic are related to topic and make it easy to understand and read. A minimum of 6 graphics were included. (Photos and clipart).
