Martian Chronicles: The New Chapter
Students will conduct an analysis of Ray Bradbury's style, summarize their findings, and then write a short story as if they were writing a new chapter for the book "The Martian Chronicles." The story must have a year (which makes sense in the chronology of the book) and a title. It must also have all of the elements of plot (setting, characters, conflict, climax, etc.). Both the analysis of style and the story itself must be typed in proper MLA style (failure to do so will result in loss of points).
