The introduction also provides general background information. The thesis is clearly stated.
Body	Poor The body paragraphs do not contain topic sentences or adequate details about the process. The organization is illogical.	Fair The body paragraphs are organized logically; however, there is insufficient details and elaboration.	Good The body paragraphs are logically organized, there are topic sentences in each one, and adequate and relative details are present.
Conclusion	Poor The conclusion contains new information, and it fails to summarize the main steps in the process. It fails to review why the process is important.	Fair The conclusion summarizes the main steps, but does not state why the process is important.	Good The conclusion paraphrases the main steps of the process, reviews the thesis statement, and it convincingly explays why the process is important.
