Author Study Rubric Book Report-Two to three students study an author and read individual books by that author. Groups create a Farcebook Poster to present the information researched about the author and a compare/contrast on elements read in each of the novels read.

Project Content - Book Comparison This includes: -Graphic Organizer Map II similarities/differences compared by the group. -Comparison draft work (graphic organizer or otherwise) is made -Presentation Product: Poster, Power Point, or Prezi Creativity, Neatness, Organization & Conventions -Presentation Content: Similarities/Differences in plot structure, writing patterns or styles and etc. -Research sources noted	Poor	Fair	Good	Advanced	Exceptional
Individual Student Contribution Amount of Individual Contributions Student Made to the Group Project -Graphic Organizer of Map II (or a form of this) completed in well detailed book content is competed by book comparison talk in class and then turned in as group presents -Map II conventions, neatness, & creativity	Poor Student did not participate or complete project at all.
