Completion, Organization & Effort	SENSACIONAL! Writer exceeds or fulfills the requirements by writing fully detailed sentences in the target language and has put care and effort into the process. Paragraphs are organinzed and topic is discussed thoroughly.	BRAVO! Writer included somewhat detailed sentences. Writing is generally logical. Most information on topic included.	BIEN Writer has included some or a few detailed sentences, leaving out key components of the writing prompt. Paragraphs are somewhat unorganized.	POBRE Paragraphas are very unorganized. There is little or no flow. Incomplete coverage of topic.
Standard 5: Presentational Writing	SENSACIONAL! Writer presented their topic in a clear, organized text. The topic was written with clarity and detail and used a variety of sentence structure.	BRAVO! Writer presented their topic in a somewhat clear, organized text. The topic was written with somewhat clarity and detail and mostly used a variety of sentence structure.	BIEN Writer has included some or a few sentences that are clear and organized, leaving out key details with some clarity and sentence structures were basic with little variety.	POBRE Paragraph(s) were unclear and unorganized, included virtually no detail and no sentence structure variation.
Comprehensibility	SENSACIONAL! Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Spanish vocabulary and idioms are used correctly. No interpretation on part of reader is necessary.	BRAVO! Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms. Minimal interpretation on the part of reader is required.	BIEN Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate and must rely on interpretation.
