Record a song using GarageBand application Select a loop from GarageBand collection and adjust the length of the project that there is an introduction, a middle part and the end. Student must use at least 5 additional instruments.

Proficient The composition is almost done. The program was used properly, but the loop is too short or too long, and/or there is missing introduction or ending.	Exemplary The composition is finished. The program was used properly. There are an introduction, middle part and ending.
Rhythm and Instruments	Beginning Student uses two or fewer instruments. The rhythm is not even.	Developing Student uses at least three instruments. The rhythm follows the beat in some places.	Proficient Student uses at least four instruments. There is sense of beat, but the melody and loop are not aligned.	Exemplary Student uses five or more instruments. There is strong sense of beat.
Musical Style	Beginning The musical style is unclear and the loop doesn't fit the melody. There is no loop, or too many loops.	Developing The musical style is evident, but it doesn't sound nice along with the melody, or/and the loop doesn't fit the melody in most of the places.	Proficient The musical style is clear, and the loop sounds coordinate with the melody in most of the places.	Exemplary The musical style is clear, and the loop sounds great with the melody. It fits the entire song perfectly!
Melody	Beginning The song is choppy. The melody of the song is unclear or missing.	Developing The melody is apparent is some places but unclear in others.	Proficient The melody is mostly smooth and clear.	Exemplary The melody is very clear and creative.
