Drawing	Excellent Picture correctly depicts a food chain from the correct ecosystem and has more than 4 levels within the chain.	Good Picture correctly depicts a food chain from the correct ecosystem and has 4 levels within the chain.	Fair Picture correctly depicts a food chain from the correct ecosystem and has less than 4 levels within it.	Poor Picture does not accurately depict a food chain from the correct ecosystem.
Vocabulary	Excellent Student used vocabulary that has yet to be covered in class in the writing portion of the project.	Good Student correctly used the vocabulary listed in the description section on the top of this sheet.	Fair Student used at least 5 of the required vocabulary words.	Poor Student used less than 5 of the required words.
Writing	Excellent Rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation are followed. Spelling is correct. Language is clear: sentences display consistently strong varied structure. Neatness/Effort	Excellent It is obvious that the student went above and beyond to complete this assignment. Every thing is neatly done and demonstrates extreme effort.	Good The work is neatly and correctly done.	Fair The work could improve with a little more effort.	Poor The student did not put in effort and/or the project is incomplete.
