ESL Movie Project

Students will create a 10-minute remake of a movie/series and they will recorded in a video. The video must include each partner speaking English. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use other people for your video too (extras).

Plot	Excellent The script has an indepth, complete, logical story with a beginning, middle and end.	Good Script is complete, with a somewhat logical story with a beginning, middle and end.	Weak Script is not complete with a few rough spots; it needs more length.	Poor Script is incomplete with major gaps; it is too short.
Grammar	Excellent There were hardly any grammar / spelling errors (1-2).	Good There were few grammar / spelling errors (3-4)	Weak There were many grammar / spelling errors (5-7)	Poor There were numerous errors that made it difficult to understand (8-or more)
Pronunciation/Dialogue	Excellent The speech is fluent and words are well pronounced The dialogue has complex ideas, native-like flow of speech. The end result is convincing but more direction and fluidity is needed.	Poor Poorly edited. The film does not flow/not convincing. Some parts are hard to understand or lack structure or direction. Not well thought out.
