	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Components	Poor The student ignores or fails to complete the required components necessary for a bio poem as illustrated in the bio poem paper and its subsequent example. (More than 3 components out of compliance).	Fair The student completes MOST of the components necessary for a bio poem as illustrated in the bio poem paper and its subsequent example. (Has 1-2 components out of compliance).	Good The student completes ALL of the required components as instructed and illustrated in the bio poem paper and its subsequent example.
Poem	Poor The student submits an incomplete product that does not illustrate/provide insight to who the student is and leaves detailed information out as per failure to follow instructions.	Fair The student submits a product, but some significant details (1-2) as listed in the assignment remain unanswered or are merely glossed over instead of explored in the poem.	Good The student submits a product that clearly and articulately reveals the uniqueness and character of the author/student who wrote the product.
Artwork	Poor The student fails to illustrate themselves in their bio poem sketch through not coloring, drawing, or completing their art work as instructed in the assignment.	Fair The student illustrates themselves in their bio poem sketch, but lacks a sense of wholeness or completeness to its illustration (partially colored/drawn, sloppily completed).	Good The student illustrates themselves in their bio poem sketch and illustrates a complete product that utilizes colors, illustrations, and the like to form a complete sketch.
