Alphabet Photography

The student will photograph the letters in a word of their choice. The photos must be of objects that form each individual letter and not a picture of the letter itself. In addition, people-formed letters are not allowed.

Letter creativity	Excellent All photos for the letters of the name showed excellent creativity. There was tremendous variety in the subject matter overall.	Good Some photos for the letters of the name showed good creativity. There was variety in the subject matter overall. Photoshop tools used	Excellent Project was complete, turned in on time, showed a tremendous amount of editing was done to emphasize the letter. Poor Project apparently used photos as shot with no manipulation in Photoshop. No before and after printout.
Matting	Excellent The matting of the photos was done carefully and the edges of the photos are fully covered. The overall presentation is aesthetically pleasing and the word reads well. Quality	Excellent Project was well thought out and the collage was neatly assembled. Letters were easy to read but not overpowering within the composition.	Good Project was fairly neat and some thought was put into ideas presented. Some letters were difficult to read or were overpowering in regards to the composition of the photo.	Moderate Project was satisfactorily put together with some effort put forth toward thought and neatness. Some letters were difficult to read or were overpowering in regards to the composition of the photo.	Poor Project was poorly put together with little effort put forth toward thought and neatness. Some letters were difficult to read or were overpowering in regards to the composition of the photo.
