The ballad should be written in 3 quatrains, with a rhyme scheme of ABCB. The ballad should tell a story (funny, tragic, love, etc.). Two forms of figurative language and repetition are exhibited. The poem is complete and follows its intended form of a ballad.

The poem contains little imagery, or figurative language. It is lacking creativity.
Accomplished
The poem makes a great attempt of following the free verse ideology, and it is very creative.
Exemplary
This poem should be written in a poem form, exhibit two forms of figurative language, and be creative regarding the family member or friend.

The student has included all but one poem, or is missing the introductory slide.
