Grammar, Sentence Structure	Good Every sentence has a subject (noun) and predicate (verb) and makes a complete thought. (0-1 grammatical errors).	Fair Most sentences have a subject (noun) and predicate (verb) and make a complete thought. There are a few run-on/fragments. (2-3 grammatical errors.)	Poor Some sentences have a subject (noun) and predicate (verb) and makes a complete thought. Too many run-on/fragments. (4 or more grammatical errors.)
Makes Sense/Good Fluency	Good The sentences are easy to understand. There is a good flow of ideas. Good use of the variety of simple sentence structures.	Fair Some sentences have a few errors which cause confusion. Overall the ideas follow a sequence. Limited use of the variety of simple sentence structures.	Poor Poor fluency.
