FLAME Independent Research Paper 
Fifth grade FLAME students will select a topic of their choosing to inquire. It will provide an individualized learning experience and give the opportunity to research a topic in which they are passionate or an opportunity to explore a topic they've always wanted to learn.

Independently wrote a straightforward inquiry question that lacked depth and complexity. (A Form or Function type question.)

Unable to choose a topic without assistance. Inquiry question was simplistic and lacked focus or depth and complexity. (A Form or Function type question.)
