Exceeds Student correctly represents fractions as having equal parts greater than 2, 3, or 4 and names the equal part as sixths, sevenths, etc.
Fractions	Emergent Student does not write or name the fraction represented.	Approaches Student correctly writes or states the number of equal parts in the denominator.	Meets Student correctly writes or states the equal parts in the denominator and equal parts in the numerator.	Exceeds Student correctly writes or states the equal parts in the denominator and equal parts in the numerator, and states or writes the fraction that is left.
Work Quality	Emergent Final project is sloppy and/or incomplete.	Approaches Final project is neat and complete.	Meets Final project is neat, complete, and clearly represents fractions.	Exceeds Final project is neat, complete, clearly and creatively represents fractions.
