Writing a Melody 
Students will use Noteflight web-based music software to write 2 four measure phrases based on a key signature of their choice (up to 3 flats or 2 sharps - Key of C is not allowed). Melodies will consist of steps, skips, leaps, and repeated notes. Rhythms will consist of note values: quarter (notes/rests); half notes; eighth notes. Other note values may be used with permission.
