Speaking	Poor Group has trouble speaking together and memorizing lines. Not willing to participate and is not focused or has not practiced.	Fair Group can speak well, but is uncomfortable and lacking in confidence.	Good Group is enthusiastic, well prepared, have memorized lines and performs well in front of others.
Clarity/Loudness/Diction	Poor Chant cannot be heard. Group rarely articulates the words and most of the chant cannot be understood.	Fair Chant can be partially heard. Group sometimes articulates the words, but the words of the chant often lack clear beginning and ending.	Good Chant can be clearly heard. Group articulates the words clearly and the 90 to 100% of chant can be understood.
Quality of Presentation	Poor Students performed to minimal standards. Students did not use voice projection and body movements effectively. Students were not confident and very nervous.	Fair Students' voice projection was satisfactory and body sound was somewhat rhythmic. Student was slightly confident but little or no eye contact.	Good Students were entertaining. Students used good voice projection and body sounds were rhythmic. Students were confident and well rehearsed.
Participation	Poor Less that 60% of the required amount participated in the chant. There was no role assigned to other students and students were not doing their assigned task. No wearing of house colours.	Fair 60% - 89% of the required participated in the chant. Some students had no role in the whole chant and some students were not wearing their house colours.	Good 90% - 100% of the required amount participated in the Chant. Everyone had a role to play and everyone did their part, including wearing the house colours.
