I summarize the procedure and list needed materials, including potential hazards. 4. I work efficiently during pre-lab and come prepared and ready to start lab.	Independent Scientist 1. I include a brief introduction providing necessary background knowledge. 2.I am missing one of the following: the title, purpose, and hypothesis pertaining to the lab. 3. I summarize the procedure and list some needed materials, but don't include potential hazards. 4. I work well during pre-lab and only need a little clarification prior to lab.	Dependent Learner 1. My introduction does not provide necessary background knowledge. 2.I am missing two of the following: the title, purpose, and hypothesis pertaining to the lab. 3. I do not use units or I copy other students’ data instead of measuring for myself, including when I am absent. 3. I don't include any modifications to the procedure and include minimal observations. 4. I may need to be redirected by the teacher because I don't work well with my lab partner. .
