Speech to Persuade 
Students will give a persuasive speech over a topic of their choice that falls under the three categories of persuasion: question of fact, value, or policy. They will be assessed on use of persuasive language, content and style of delivery. Speeches need to be a minimum of 7 minutes long and no longer than 9 minutes.

Speaker maintains inconsistent eye contact with the audience or focuses on one person/part of the audience, ignoring the rest.

Speaker reads the speech and/or rarely looks at the audience.
