Math Notebook Rubric

Your math notebook will be collected approximately every three weeks to be graded on the following five categories: Organization, Class notes, Syllabus, Returned Work, and Punctuality. Every notebook check will be out of 100 points. Each category is worth 20 points.

Organization	EXEMPLARY/Well done! Notebook is neat, organized, and it contains all dates, titles, and standards arranged in order.	ACCOMPLISHED/Good Job! Notebook is organized, and in good condition, and contains all sections with a few missing dates, titles, and/or standards or it is out of order.	DEVELOPING Needs more effort Notebook is messy, but contains all sections with many missing titles, dates, and/or standards or it is out of order.	Needs Improvement Notebook is not organized and contains missing sections and papers are not in order.
Class notes	EXEMPLARY/Well done! Notebook contains ALL: -Class notes -Examples completed and in order.	ACCOMPLISHED/Good Job! Notebook contains MOST: -Class notes -Examples completed and in order.	DEVELOPING Needs more effort Notebook contains few: -Class notes -Examples completed and in order.	Needs Improvement Notebook contains few: -Class notes -Examples and is not in order.
