Accuracy of Content	Poor Project does not contain elements needed. It is inaccurate and/or incomplete.	Fair Project is missing one or more key elements and/or factual information is not accurate in all aspects.	Good Project is missing a key element; factual information is accurate.	Outstanding Project contains all elements specified and factual information is accurate.
Layout	Poor The product is disorganized and does not display great effort on the part of the creator.	Fair The product is lacking in neatness and/or detail.	Good The product is appealing, but could use more detail.	Outstanding The final product is organized and attractive, with strong attention to detail.
Spelling	Poor More than 7 terms are incorrectly spelled and students made no effort to find correct spellings.	Fair More than 5 terms are incorrectly spelled.	Good Less than 3 terms are incorrectly spelled.	Outstanding All terms are spelled correctly.
Effort	Poor Unable to follow directions as a group. Resistant to using resources and/or working cooperatively.	Fair Difficulty following directions for project. Difficulty using materials or using resources. Needed much guidance from teacher.	Good Students attempted to follow directions, and use materials appropriately. Needed encouragement to use resources.
