Create Mug like family

Students were asked to create their own character, create a new rule to enlarge or shrink the original character and then create a rule that forms and imposter. Task needed to include: three graphs, plot chart and written response.

Original Character Student needed to create a new Mug like character that including: body and eyes.	Poor Picture was recognizable but had parts of the body missing and 25% of the points were plotted correctly.	Fair Picture was recognizable and had at least 75% of points plotted correctly.	Good Picture was correct, with at least 85% of order pairs graphed correctly.	Excellent Picture was correct, with at least 95% of order pairs graphed correctly.
Written Response	Poor Did not explain scale using vocabulary or did not complete at all parts of task	Fair Response incorporates calculations,vocabulary and scale. But does not show student comprehension of standard.	Good Response incorporates vocabulary, calculations, and includes a brief explanation.	Excellent Response incorporates vocabulary, calculations, and shows and fully explains the similarity and differences within the Mug like family.
