Voice/instrument parts	Unsatisfactory-D Student is only able to write one part for composition.	Satisfactory C-B Students only use 2 different parts.	Above Satisfactory B-A Students use 3 or more instrument or voice parts in composition.
Rhythm	Unsatisfactory-D Student only uses 1-2 different types of notes and rest.	Satisfactory C-B Student uses 3 different types of notes and rest.	Above Satisfactory B-A Student uses 4-5 different types of notes and rest.
Performance	Unsatisfactory-D Only a few students are actively performing their piece	Satisfactory C-B Most of the Students are actively participating during the performance of their piece.	Above Satisfactory B-A All students are actively participating during performance of their piece.
