Focus	Poor The project does not have much connection to the reading.	Fair The project is focused on the assigned task and is related to the reading.	Good The project is clearly focused on the assigned task. A clear connection between the reading and the project is easy to see.
Production	Poor The project does not show much care, thoughtfulness, and/or time invested. The project could be much improved with some effort by the student.	Fair the project was completely well and thoughtfulness is evident. The project is well designed but could have been better if more time, thought, or care had been put into it.	Good The project was completely carefully and thoughtfully. The project is well designed and shows a serious investment of time. There is little room for improvement.
Personal	Poor The project is not very personal and does not go beyond a surface connection to the subject matter.	Fair The project reflects personal connections to the subject matter.	Good The project clearly reflects the student's or students' deep personal connection(s) to the subject matter.
Student Work (Group only)	Poor Our group did not share the work well and some people did a lot more, or a lot less than the others.
