Paragrpah Ideas/Content	Level 1 Digresses from main idea. Has missing or irrelevant details. Lacks understanding of the topic.	Level 2 Generally focused on a main idea. Has limited or unrelated details. Shows limited understanding of the topic.	Level 3 Remains focused on a main idea. Uses sufficient details to support the main idea. Shows clear understanding of the topic.	Level 4 Remains focused on a clear main idea. Uses interesting details that engage the reader. Presents insight or unique perspective of the topic.
