Main Focus	Poor Student fails to identify what he/she will be comparing and contrasting.	Fair Student discusses one variable in the chart rather than two.	Good Student has clearly written what two variables are being compared and contrasted.
Similarities	Poor Student fails to make any comparisons to the variables.	Fair Student writes one comparison sentence about the two variables being discussed.	Good Student has clearly written two comparison sentences about the variables being discussed.
Differences	Poor Student fails to make any contrasts between variables.	Fair Student writes one contrasting sentence about the two variable being discussed.	Good Student has clearly written two contrasting sentences about the variables being discussed.
Presentation	Poor Student fails to input the correct information or did not complete the project.	Fair Student chart is a little unorganized and does not have enough information for both variables.	Good Student chart is neat and organized and have all the correct information displayed.
