"The Giver" Debate

This debate is a benchmark assignment that will be conducted after reading our novel. This debate will require that you work in designated groups to argue for or against one of many controversial issues in The Giver. If you have any further questions about this, see me after class about it.

Oral Presentation During Debate	Needs Improvement Team members did not work together effectively therefore disrupting the overall debate presentation, This affected their overall grade with very poorly executed oral presentation of ideas during debate. No eye contact, monotone or unclear voice delivery, and poor overall presentation.	Poor Team members made an effort to work together however most times it was apparent that there was little cohesion and oral presentation of ideas during debate was poor. Communication was poor with group, and little eye contact was made with groups. Delivery was not great.	Good Team members, on the most part, worked well together.
