	Level 3 3 pts	Level 2 2 pts	Level 1 1 pts
Verb Definition	Level 3 Student has a clear understanding of what a verb is.	Level 2 Student has an idea of what a verb is, but is not clear on the definition.	Level 1 Student does not know what a verb is.
Verb Identification	Level 3 Student can identify verbs in a story or sentence.	Level 2 Student struggles with identifying verbs in a story or sentence.	Level 1 Student could not identify a verb in a story or sentence.
Verbs in sentences	Level 3 Student uses proper form of a verb in a sentence.	Level 2 Student struggles with using the proper form of a verb in a sentence.	Level 1 Student did not use a verb properly in a sentence.
