Voice/point of view and characters are clearly identified and defined. Setting has been successfully established with tension and narrative time stretched. Plot is developed. Quotations marks and dialogue included.
Development/Elaboration

Working towards the Standard

There are no transitional phrases and limited use of transitional words. There are no paragraphs and little organisation of sequence. A drift from the plot is present.
Meeting the Standard

Adequate use of transitional words and phrases. Sequence may be disjointed but overall the plot is established. Paragraphs are present.

Shape the overall organisation, sequence and
presentation of a text to convey
ideas clearly
and effectively using transitional words and phrases.
