Participation	Unsatisfactory Student made no attempt to participate in the lab activity.	Fair Student showed minimal effort; student not present or needed constant reminding to help team members.	Good Student showed a little effort: made an attempt to work with their team members.	Exceptional Student participated in all aspects of the lab activity.
Solar Car Construction	Unsatisfactory Solar car was not built.	Fair Solar car construction not finished.	Good Solar car construction was complete but not built according to design specifications.	Exceptional Solar car construction complete and built to design specifications.
Solar Car Testing	Unsatisfactory Solar car was not tested.	Fair Solar car was tested but failed to move.	Good Solar car was tested but did not cross the finish line.	Exceptional Solar car was tested and was able to complete the race on at least 2 occasions.
