Final Project - Lighting/Poster/Groundplan 2018 
Students read a given script. Working as a team, they determine an approach to the project and take on roles of Director/Lighting Designer, Set Designer or Costume Designer.

Needs Improvement

The speaker is hard to hear at times, eye contact is infrequent and is not totally knowledgeable about their presentation

The speaker is not audible, doesn't make eye contact, is fidgity, and has little or no knowlege of their subject.
Demands of Script

Evidence of research and analysis being put into action through design. Do the designs meet the needs and given circumstances of the script.

The speaker gives a complete summary of the play. The design concept makes sense with the time/place/style of the script.
Good

Presentation - Ground Plan

The ground plan was created without much effort. It is not neat. It attempts to meet the needs of the play, but is not very successful.

The ground plan was obviously created at the last minute. It is not neat. It attempts to meet the needs of the play, but is not very successful.
Lighting Ideas

Has lighting been taken into consideration? How does that tie in with the set design.

There is evidence that a great deal of thought has been incorporated into the design. The designer has a unique or thoughtful take on lighting. The pre/post
show music is appropriate and enhances the presentation.

All elements of the poster are clean, neat, detailed, and it is evident that clear choices have been made. It appears as though student spent an exceptional amount of time getting the assignment "just right".

Poster is created neatly with some focus on the detail and technique. Clear choice has been made, though not fully executed. It appears as though student spent a good deal of time completing the assignment on time.
Fair

There is evidence of a process. The poster is finished but does not demonstrate a strong focus on detail nor continuity of design. It appears as though the student rushed to complete the assignment.
Needs Improvement

The poster appears disconnected and unfinished. It appears as though the student ran out of time to complete the assignment.
Poor

The poster is only a rough draft or very sloppy.
