Writing a Formal Letter 
Write a formal letter to Ishmael Beah, the author of A Long Way Gone. Additionally, these letters must be typed, and you must have at least five paragraphs to the letter. Spend one paragraph introducing yourself; two-three paragraphs regarding your look-back list and the events from the book; one paragraph asking Mr. Beah questions from the book or from his current life, etc.; and finally, one paragraph of encouragement, praise or criticism (appropriate—not personal criticism) for the author.
