Civil War PowerPoint Project Each group will create a 9 question PowerPoint Jeopardy game on an American Civil War topic that we have discussed in class. I will assign the topics.
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Creativity creative background, title, color scheme	Poor Little to no use of creative design tools including wordart, transitions, and animations. Dull color scheme and plain backgrounds.	Fair Some use of wordart, transitions, and animations. Plain backgrounds, no creativity with color scheme.	Good All slides contain animations and transitions, but only one type of transition. Colorful scheme.	Excellent creative design with multiple types of slide transitions and animations. Wordart is creative and the PowerPoint is very colorful.
Design includes 9 pictures. Does each picture apply to the question?	Poor Little to no use of pictures to illustrate the questions and themes of the quiz.	Fair 2-5 pictures used	Good 5-8 pictures used, all relevant to the theme.	Excellent 9 pictures that pertain to the theme of the questions asked.
Historical Relevance are questions historically relevant to the assigned topic? do they cover themes we talked about in class?	Poor questions do not apply to the theme assigned and cover little to none of the material we discussed in class.	Fair only a few of the questions apply to the assigned theme but do not reflect any knowledge of the topics discussed in class.	Good most of the questions apply to the assigned theme and all reflect knowledge of topics discussed in class.	Excellent each of the 9 questions apply to the theme assigned and covers topics discussed in class.
Functionality functional links to each slide, does the quiz work properly?	Poor PowerPoint quiz does not function properly and links to slides are non-existent	Fair only some of the links to certain slides function properly	Good nearly all links function properly and game can be played without getting out of the slideshow.	Excellent PowerPoint quiz functions properly with action links working effectively to jump to different slides.
