Students will research facts regarding the person they selected.

Excellent

Students have included 20 or more facts regarding the person. The facts are topical and are related to the person and regard the Revolutionary war.
Good

Students have included 19 to 15 facts regarding the person. The facts are topical and are related to the person and regard the Revolutionary war.
Fair

Students have included 14 to 10 facts regarding the person. The facts are topical and are related to the person and regard the Revolutionary war.
Poor

Students have included 9 or less facts regarding the person. The facts are topical and are related to the person and regard the Revolutionary war.
Graphics

Students will select graphics which will help explain about the person or what the person did during the Revolutionary War. All graphics are clear and easy to see and do not take away from the facts and are on topic.

Excellent

Student has 10 graphics they are clear and easy to understand. They add to the overall presentation and are on topic..
Good

Student has 8 to 9 graphics they are clear and easy to understand. They add to the overall presentation and are on topic

Student has 6 to 7 graphics they are some what clear and can be understood. They add some what to the presentation are not always on topic.

Student has 5 or fewer graphics they are not clear or easy to understand. They distract from the overall presetation.
Power Point

Student has created a power point presetation which is informative and does not distract the viewer. Slides are clear and easy to read. Information is written in Arial Rounded MT Bold. Bachgrounds do not distract from the slide and make the information easy to read. Students have included a cover slide which includes their name, period, date and the name of the person they selected. Also students will include a reference slide with a minum of five references.

Excellent

Student has a total of 15 slides including a cover slide and a reference slide. Sides are easy to understand information is informative and in the correct font.
Good

Student has 12 to 14 slides including a cover and reference slide. Slides can be understood informaion is good and is in the correct font. Background is good
Fair

Student has 11 to 10 slides. Information is not clear. Backgrounds are distractive and is not in the correct font. Student has a cover slide but has fewer than 5 references.
Poor

Student has fewer than 9 slides. Information is unclear. Background distracts the viewer. The font is incorrect. There is a cover slide but the reference slide has 3 or less references.
Oral Presentation

Students will present the power point to the entire class. Students will show that they have rehearsed. Students will speak in a clear voice.

Excellent

Student has rehearsed the presentation and is speaking clearly for everyone to hear.
Good

Student is speaking clearly but is miss pronouncing words and shows signs that they have not rehearsed the presentation many times.
Fair

Student is not speaking loud enough and is hard to hear. Student is not sure of what they are reading.
Poor

Student is making little or no attempt to present information.
Presentation Quiz

Students will include one additional slide that serves as a quiz. Students will administer the quiz to the class at the end of their presentation. Quiz should be no longer than 5 questions and be short answer type of questions.

Excellent

Students have included their quiz of five questions and are of short answer type.
Good

Student only has 4 questions. They are of short answer type.
Fair

Student has only 3 questions. They are not in the correct format.
Poor

Student has no quiz.
