To Kill a Mockingbird Mock Trial
Students will put the character Tom Robinson on trial for murder as a mock trial activity based on Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird Students will complete research based upon the novel and the job assigned to them for the court and trial. Students will complete a written summary after the trial agreeing or disagreeing with the court's decision.

Student submits a summary of the trial and includes material from the presentation.

Summary is disorganized. Summary does not contain support from the trial. Summary does not agree or disagree with the verdict or defend with reasons why the position is taken. More than 5 grammatical errors or misinformation.
