Students will build a fake Facebook page for one of the characters in The Outsiders. Draw a picture of him/her in the large square, update his/her status with how they are feeling, write information about them from the reading, and have other characters write on their timeline

Profile Name and Picture Caption	Advanced Profile Name is visible and picture caption is unique, thoughtful and creative.	Average Profile Name is visible and picture caption is appropriate.	Poor Profile Name is not visible and picture caption is inappropriate or missing.
"Status"	Advanced Provides accurate feelings based on the time that you decided in the reading. Make sure to include information about the event that occurred. Be explicit.	Average Describes person briefly but does not go into detail.	Poor Does not go into detail at all.
"Timeline"	Advanced Provides accurate details about the event and included feelings and emotions about the event or events. Need to include 4-3 different individuals.	Average Provides little details about the event that was being posted. Need to include 3-2 different individuals	Poor Provides no information or feeling of the individual that posted on the individuals Timeline.
"About Me"	Advanced Chooses more than 4 details about the character. Include occupation, age, schooling, interests that the person may have that reflects a depth of understanding.
