My Dream Vacation Project 
Plan a vacation that you would love to take. Decide on Vacation Destination. Be sure to consider how much money you have to spend. You can only spend $2,500 per person/$10,000 for four people. (Not including food and souvenirs). When you have completed every page of the planning process, then you can fill in the four days of journal pages with a creative description of what your dream vacation was like. Some of the sections have not been completed. (Transportation, Accommodations, traveling companions) The writing is not neat and is difficult to read. None of the illustrations on the page have been colored in. This shows a lack of motivation.

Trip Planner Worksheet

The research done to fill in this page shows enthusiasm. The things this traveler has decided to see on their visit sound very interesting! Foods that the traveler would like to try on their vacation are listed, and extra details (i.e. menu, photo, brochure..) have been included!
Budget Worksheet

Poor

The accommodation and transportation costs of the trip have not been correctly calculated and recorded on this sheet.
Fair

The budget worksheet includes the cost of the round trip flight and/or the accommodations, but they have not been correctly calculated for the number of travelers and the number of overnight stays. AND/Or the budget has not been adhered to.
Good

Excellent budgeting! The budget was adhered to. The accommodations and transportation were chosen with the budget in mind. The calculations are correctly done.
Packing List

Poor

Thought was not given to what items would make the most sense to pack. This page is incomplete, and those things listed are not practical for the vacation planned.
Fair

The basic needs of the traveler are considered in this packing list. Evidence that consideration of the destination's climate and the activities the vacationer would be involved in, are not present.
Good

Used excellent critical thinking skills in deciding what to pack. Those things chosen make sense in considering the season and climate of the destination, as well as the activities planned.

The four days of journal pages are incomplete/and or sloppy. Creativity lacking when describing the days activities. Grammar, punctuation, and spelling have not been checked and corrected. Overall, these pages are sloppy.
