Percy Jackson-A True Hero 
According to Joseph Campbell in "The Hero's Journey," all heroes follow a similar path on the road to becoming a hero. Write a 5 paragraph essay to demonstrate that Percy Jackson is a hero in "The Lightning Thief." Select three of the stages and show how Percy followed the journey outlined by Campbell. Include quotes from the novel as well as from "The Hero's Journey" to support this idea. Remember to write a connecting sentence to tie the quotes together.
