Independent Reading Book Report 
After completing the reading of a book of choice student will complete TWO (2) activity options on the Independent Reading Choice Board located in the last section of the IRN. The activities will be completed on a two page spread in the 'Books I've Read' section of the IRN. This rubric is the grading of the two activities together.

Activities chosen by student are displayed on a two-page spread in the 'Books I've Read' section of the IRN.

Each of the two choice activities is completed on one full page of the two-page spread in the 'Books I've Read' section of the IRN. Each activity is of the appropriate size for the activity chosen. Each activity is pristine and free from error. It is obvious that the student read the instructions for each activity completed.
Meets the Expectation

Each of the two choice activities is completed on one full page of the two-page spread in the 'Books I've Read' section of the IRN. At least one of the activities is of the appropriate size. Each activity is relatively neat and has less than three errors. It is NOT completely obvious that the student read the instructions for each activity completed as there are some requirements that don't appear to be completed.

The activities are NOT of the appropriate size - activities appear to be missing necessary components. Each activity is relatively neat and has less than four errors.
