Excellent

The presenter has demonstrated a very thoughtful and insightful reflection on this scripture passage and clearly connects it to meaning in his/her life.
Good

The presenter indicates thoughtful and insightful reflection on the scripture passage and related it somewhat to meaning and direction in his/her life.
Average

The presenter makes an attempt to reflect on this passage but with little depth and/or poorly relates the scripture to his/her life.
Poor

The presenter makes a poor attempt to reflect on this passage and or no attempt is made to relate the scripture to his/her life.
Voice

Excellent

Consistent and effective volume, articulation, and expression were present in the speaker's voice. Appropriate rate and pausing were employed.
Good

The speaker spoke loudly and clearly enough to be easily understood. The speaker used adequate expression and rate.
Average

The speaker could be heard most of the time, but at certain points was inaudible. Little expression was shown.
Poor

Audience had difficulty hearing and/or understanding much of the speech due to low volume. Very little expression was shown.
Eye Contact

Excellent

The presenter looked at all of the audience most of the time.
Good

The presenter looked at much of the audience often.
Average

The presenter looked up occasionally and focused on only a few people during the presentation.

The presenter looked down much of the time or focused on just the teacher.
Posture

Excellent

The presenter maintained good posture. Movements were purposeful and enhanced the delivery of the presentation. Facial expressions were comfortable and showed enthusiasm for the topic.
Good

The presenter maintained adequate posture and non-distracting movements during the presentation. Expressions were comfortable.
Average

The presenter had some distracting movements during delivery. Facial expressions seemed pained, forced or absent.
Poor

The presenter's posture and expression indicated a lack of enthusiasm or comfort with the presentation. Some movements were very distracting and made presentation difficult to follow.
Flow of Ideas

Excellent

Presenter had a very natural flow of ideas and transitioned well from point to point. Audience could track presentation and connect with it.
Good

Presenter had a good flow of ideas and presentation was fairly easy to follow. No phrases or ideas were repeated.
Average

Presenter had a good flow of ideas but tended to repeat a couple of aspects of presentation and even jump from one concept to another without logical transition.
Poor

Presenter did not have a flow of ideas and repeated several aspects of presentation and was very difficult to follow as jumped from idea to idea.
