"My Neighborhood" Presentation Rubric

Presentation Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Organization	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around and only covers a few elements of the poster board.	Good Student presents most of the elements in a logical sequence which audience can follow.	Excellent Student presents all of the elements in a logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.
Elements Present	Poor Student only has one of the tasks completed for presentation.	Fair Student only 1/2 of the tasks completed.	Good Student is only missing one item.	Excellent Student has all of the elements included: Google Earth image, descriptive paragraph, memory narrative, questionnaire, and pictures.
Eye Contact	Poor Student reads the poster board and has no eye contact.	Fair Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of the board.	Good Student maintains some eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to poster board.	Excellent Student maintains frequent eye contact with audience, and returns only to read description or narrative.
Voice	Poor Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.	Good Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
