The thesis is absent from the outline.	In Need of Work Thesis is not clear and does not state an arguable point nor a clear stand for or against.
Format	Exemplary The provided outline format has been used correctly, all parts are completed.	Good The provided outline format has been used correctly, at least 80% completed.	Okay The provided outline format has been used correctly, at least 60% completed.	In Need of Work Attempt at using the provided format, less than 50% complete.
Mechanics	Exemplary The outline exhibits excellent use of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and format.
