Mapping Janie's Journey 
The student will have printed a map of the physical locations/journey of Janie Crawford (Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston) using QuickMaps.com. The student will recreate the map and the journey on a piece of poster board for display, showing creativity and accuracy of information. The student with then create a chart using MSWord to list a)the places she visited b)what she did there c)how the location is described in the text d)what Janie learned while she was there. The student will also include citations and a Works Cited page conforming to MLA standards.
