Brain Anatomy

Students are expected to label the Brain Stem, Cerebellum, Cerebrum, and the 4 lobes of the Cerebrum. The frontal, parietal, occipital, and temporal lobes.

Level 1

The student is BEGINNING to understand the Anatomy of the brain. The student could not complete this task independently.
Level 2

The student is DEVELOPING understanding on the Anatomy of the brain. The student needed extra support to fully understand the anatomy of the brain.
Level 3

The student INDEPENDENTLY and CONSISTENTLY shows knowledge of understanding the Anatomy of the brain.
Brain Functions

Students are expected to briefly describe the functions of each part of the brain.

Level 1

The student is BEGINNING to understand the functions of the brain. The student could not, independently, describe the functions of the brain.
Level 2

The student is DEVELOPING understanding on the functions of the brain. The student needed extra support to fully understand the functions of the brain.
Level 3

The student INDEPENDENTLY and CONSISTENTLY shows knowledge of understanding the functions of the brain.
Creativity/Presentation

Students are expected to select a medium that demonstrates the anatomy and function of the brain. Students are expected to pay attention to detail, color, labels, and clear communication to make their model easy to study

The student is BEGINNING to communicate effectively their understanding of the brain through a model. The student could not independently label or present their model on the brain.
Level 2

The student is DEVELOPING in communicating their understanding of the brain through a model. The student needed extra support to fully label and clearly communicate their model on the brain.
Level 3

The student INDEPENDENTLY and CONSISTENTLY showed knowledge of the anatomy and function of the brain through a model. The student displayed accuracy, attention to detail, and made it easy to study their brain model.
