U.S. History Final Project 
This rubric is for a U.S. History final class project comprised of a final research paper and a PowerPoint presentation given by group of students; each student is responsible for individually contributing an assigned section for a final seven-page typed paper which includes their research for the PowerPoint presentation. The final paper must include an introduction, review of the literature, analysis and substantiation, a conclusion, and a bibliography of at least five sources.

Report submitted in prosecribed format and includes some of the MLA elements but limited details, is factual and and includes resources.
Unacceptable

Report not submitted in prosecribed format with few of the MLA elements and or missing details, without resources.
Oral Presentation

Excellent

Presenters meet or exceed all of the presentation criteria.
Good

Presenters meet most of the presentation criteria, with limited or incomplete answers to questions.
Fair

Presenters not able to clearly present their material but are able to answer most questions competently..
Poor

Presenters are unable to clearly present information and have limited or incomplete answers to questions.
Unacceptable

Presenters unable to meet presentation criteria and fail to respond to questions.
Audience Participation

Excellent

Meets or exceeds all expectations.
Good

Meets expectations and asks pertaining and interesting questions.
Fair

Somewhat disruptive but responds to redirection. Asks questions.
