U.S. History Final Project

This rubric is for a U.S. History final class project comprised of a final research paper and a PowerPoint presentation given by group of students; each student is responsible for individually contributing an assigned section for a final seven-page typed paper which includes their research for the PowerPoint presentation. The final paper must include an introduction, review of the literature, analysis and substantiation, a conclusion, and a bibliography of at least five sources.

Poor Presentation includes slides with factual information presented with an adequate number of slides.	Unacceptable Presentation made without an adequate number of slides and lacking factual information.
Individual Research Paper	Excellent Report submitted meets or exceeds the prosecribed format and includes all of the MLA elements and details, is factual and comprehensive, with resources.	Good Report submitted in prosecribed format and includes all of the MLA elements and most details, is factual and relatively comprehensive, with resources.	Fair Report submitted in prosecribed format and includes most of the MLA elements and details, is factual, with resources.	Poor Report submitted in prosecribed format and includes some of the MLA elements but limited details, is factual and and includes resources.	Unacceptable Report not submitted in prosecribed format with few of the MLA elements and or missing details, without resources.
