AVERAGE Can successfully compete in a game of chess against other students and on line while following some of the rules of chess.	MODERATELY WEAK Can successfully compete in a game of chess against other students and on line but has difficulty following many of the rules of chess.
Use strategies: Uses chess strategies lead to winning most matches	STRONG Can capture many of the opponents's chess pieces, including those of high rank (value), without having own pieces captured. Can play in such a way as to checkmate the opponent's king consistently.	MODERATELY STRONG Can capture some of the opponents's chess pieces, including those of high rank (value),without losing many of his own pieces captured. Can achieve a checkmate some of the time.
