Writing Test
Students will be asked to write a complete sentence with a given word. Five words will be given, and five sentence will be asked to be written. All words will come from the Dolch Word List at the students grade level.

Sentences were not illegible. Most if not all words were spelled phonetically. Was unable to use the given word in the sentence correctly. Made no sense.
Below 60%
Was unable to write at least three complete sentences. Had trouble beginning it with a capital letter, and/or no punctuation. But did try to write some-thing.
70-60%
3/5 Sentences are written correctly. two may be without beginning with a capital letter, no punctuation, or not a complete thought.
90-80%
4/5 Sentence are written correctly. One may not be a complete thought, no punctuation, or begin with a capital letter.
100%
Is able to write five complete sentences when given one word at a time to include in the sentence. Must begin with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. Is a complete thought.
