A Friendly Letter to a Veteran
A Friendly Letter to the President Writing Rubric
After we studied the parts of a friendly letter, students were asked to write a friendly letter to a past or present service person. The purpose of the letter was to express appreciation. The directions were to be sure to correctly use all parts of the friendly letter and to include two paragraphs in the body of the letter.
