Ability to drill and use solid rivets

Below Acceptable Level

The student was not able to utilize the drill press properly or did not rivet the product together or did not rivet properly leaving a gap between the two pieces and bent the rivet.

Student had difficulty with the drill press or the rivet was hammered as flat as possible leaving very little material to hold the project together AND/OR the rivets were put on backwards AND/OR the holes were incorrectly sized.

Student was able to utilize the drill press properly but the rivet was not completely hammered down. OR the rivets were put on backwards. OR the holes were incorrectly sized.

The student shows a full understanding of how to utilize the drill press to drill through metal and the student is able to properly use solid rivets to fasten material together.
