Harry Potter Review

Your final project for our first novel discussion is to create a video review for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". Your video should be short, only 3-5 minutes long, and include a summary of the plot (including major characters, and teasers of events (don't give away too much)), and your opinion of the book (did you like it and was it well written, with LOTS OF EXAMPLES and evidence!). This project is worth 45 points, and is due Wed., Sept. 30.

Review	Poor Review is missing, or gives no evidence for the creator's point of view.	Fair Review of the book is given, but either the author's argument is weak, or supported by very little evidence. Shows some evidence of independent thought.	Good Review of the book is complete, and the author's arguments are supported with ample evidence from the text. There is ample evidence of independent thought.
Neatness and Creativity	Poor The video is sloppy, hard to follow, not creative, and/or does not reflect independent thought. Work is not of 5th grade caliber.	Fair Video is understandable, shows little evidence of creativity or independent thought, but is of 5th grade caliber.	Good Video is easy to understand, shows evidence of independent thought and creativity. Indicative of 5th grade work.
