Subject Knowledge (Preparation)	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student only reads notes. Not prepared.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and relies heavily on notes. Somewhat prepared.	Good Student is at ease with most information, but refers to notes occasionally. Good preparation.	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by talking about the subject without using notes. Excellent preparation.
Grammar	Poor Student's presentation has 6+ grammatical errors.	Fair Presentation has 4-5 grammatical errors.	Good Presentation has 3-4 grammatical errors.	Excellent Presentation has 0-2grammatical errors.
Eye Contact	Poor No eye contact with listeners.	Fair Occasional eye contact with listeners.	Good Frequent eye contact with listeners.	Excellent Excellent eye contact. Student looks around the room consistently.
Elocution	Poor Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms.
